There are about 60 students per year taking BA Archaeology and BA Archaeological Practice at this thriving university college. Field work and practical archaeology are a particular focus. MA courses and research degrees also offered.

UCLan offer a new BSc (Hons) degree in archaeology that combines hands-on practicals with lectures and fieldwork. Particular specialisms include the study of prehistoric artefacts, past perceptions of landscapes, human evolution, and the protection and interpretation of important archaeological sites.
