Bath & North East Somerset Council

Curator covering Bath and North East Somerset. Services include provision of planning advice and SMR information, along with some educational/public outreach.

Surrey County Council

Curator for Surrey. Maintains computerised Sites and Monuments Record. Monitors all archaeological work in the county. Provides advice on development proposals.

Merseyside Archaeological Service

Curator for the metropolitan authorities of Merseyside (Knowlesley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens & Wirral). Maintains the Sites and Monuments Record and provides advice on planning issues.

Historic Scotland

An executive Agency within the Scottish Office responsible for administering legislation, looking after monuments in State care, rescue archaeology and AM & HB grants
