The Group works in partnership to research, record and promote all aspects of the history and heritage of the South Pennine region while making the results of such research available to the wider community.
They run an annual Study Day, open to all. Membership of the Group is available for a small fee to any society or organisation which promotes the study of history within the South Pennine
