If you are interested in Hampshire then you should join the Hampshire Field Club and Archaeological Society and be part of a group of people who care about Hampshire, its environment and heritage. It is not bound by tradition, however, and is constantly evolving to provide the best possible awareness of and access to Hampshire’s superb heritage.
They organise an annual conference and a programme of lectures which keep members abreast of developments in archaeology, both within the county and beyond. Field trips are arranged to view current excavations and exhibitions and to visit some of the notable sites and monuments in Hampshire and adjoining counties.
