At CA Live! this year we also held an Archaeology Fair, where a dozen stalls were packed with books, equipment, and much more for everyone to browse between sessions. Click here to see who was there.

Current Archaeology Awards

The winners of the Current Archaeology Awards 2012 were announced at the conference evening reception on Friday 1 March.

The categories, and their winners, were:

Archaeologist of the Year 2013 – Phil Harding
Book of the Year 2013- Roman Camps in Britain, by Rebecca Jones
Rescue Dig of the Year 2013 – Folkestone: Roman villa or Iron Age oppidum?
Research Project of the Year 2013 – Richard III: the search for the last Plantagenet king
