Vindolanda Trust

The Vindolanda Trust carries out research and museum conservation at Vindolanda and Carvoran on Hadrian’s Wall. Major ongoing excavations, starting in April and continuing to the end of August every year. Volunteers for the excavations can find out more and can apply for places on our website. A small fee of ?40 per excavation term is charged to cover tea/coffee and office expenses. As well as this, all those taking part on the excavations are required to join the ‘Friends of Vindolanda’, which gives free admission to the site for one year, and a host of other benefits.
