Excavations on the Northern part of the villa exposed last year will continue to investigate the shape and function of the building in the Roman Settlement at Brakelands Farm, Lower Lea. Excavations in the Roman village or its outsettlements will continue for two weeks every summer. There is also an Iron Age village and Medieval village to investigate, all in Lower Lea.
