Advisory Board for Redundant Churches

1 min read

The Advisory Board for Redundant Churches was established in 1969 as the independent statutory advisor to the Church Commissioners on churches proposed for redundancy, and former Anglican churches subject to the Pastoral Measure. The Board gives advice on the interest, quality and importance of churches and their contents, and the alteration and conversion of churches to alternative use.
