Ampthill & District Archaeological & Local History Society

Comprehensive social programme, monthly talks through Winter months and site visits in Summer. Field Walking on Sunday mornings in winter. Recent work includes a major resistivity survey on the site of Ampthill Castle and other sites in the area using the TR/CIA resistivity meter. Past excavations are being written up.

Welwyn Archaeological Society
