A very active amateur society operates in the Clydesdale area in Scotland. Regular lecture and visits programme from September to May. Activities include fieldwalking as well as survey work with resistivity meter and EDM. Current work includes resistivity survey on Castledykes, Roman Fort, EDM survey of local farms and research work on Timothy Pont’s 1596 map of Lanarkshire.
