KingstonIf you are a Time Team fan or want to know more about the lives of those who inhabited your world centuries before you, then you would enjoy being a member of Kingston upon Thames Archaeological Society.

Every month expert speakers share their knowledge and interpretation of the fragments and clues left behind by our predecessors: topics are as diverse as prehistoric monuments in Wiltshire, Kingston’s own mediaeval pottery industry, and the Bayeux Tapestry.

There are organised trips to sites of interest and opportunities to handle and learn about artifacts found during excavations. Meetings are held on the second Thurday of the month (except August) at the Richard Mayo Centre, United Reformed Church, Eden Street, Kingston, 7.30 for 8pm
