A volunteer unit designed to investigate and promote the archaeology of the Newark area whilst at the same time training members to a professional standard in all techniques of archaeological investigation. Activities include field walking and research, aerial photography and excavation. We have our own resistivity equipment and put on many exhibitions in the local community.
