The EMAS Archaeological Society

1 min read

EMAS was founded in 1988 as the University of London Extra-Mural Archaeological Society and was initially open to anyone who was a past, or present, student of the University of London Extra-Mural Certificate and Diploma Classes.

Nowadays, membership of EMAS is open to anyone over the age of 18 with an interest in archaeology. In addition to the lectures which are held at the Museum of London, EMAS organises regular field trips and two study tours each year.
