First established in 1979 by a handful of keen archaeology students, Bexley Archaeological Group has since grown and now provides an ongoing programme of field trips, research, projects & lectures. It provides an adult education course on the archaeology of the Bexley area and publishes a quarterly newsletter. They run a Young Archaeologists’ Club and offer members an opportunity to take part in excavations, geophysics, finds processing and other activities at their own Bexley dig site.
There is a training dig running 25-29th July 2016 at their Autumn site, Bexley, Kent, for which bookings are now being taken.
