Curator for Hampshire( excluding Southampton and Portsmouth, Test Valley & Winchester). Maintains a computerised Archaeology and Historic Buildings Record. Provides advice on archaeology in planning, listed buildings and the conservation and management of archaeological sites.

Isle of Wight County Archaeology & Historic Environment Service

The County Archaeology Service manage the Sites and Monuments Record and provides advice on the impact of development proposals on land-based, coastal and maritime sites. We implement the Portable Antiquities Scheme and undertake large research projects including Community Archaeology at Yaverland and the Wootton-Quarr intertidal research project.
