Historic and Natural Environment Team is curator for Leicestershire & Rutland except for the City of Leicester. Maintains a Sites and Monuments Record and provides planning advice. Archaeological Services Team organises public events and displays and trains volunteers in object identification, fieldwalking techniques, watching briefs and running community archaeology groups. It runs the parish-based Leicestershire and Rutland Archaeological Network (a parish warden scheme. Also runs Manor House Museum at Donington le Heath and museum displays at other county branches and curates the County archaeological collections.
