I am the Curator of St Michael’s Loft located within the Christchurch Priory.
One of our artefacts is a rusty dagger or sword that is in such bad shape I left it in it’s packaging and am displaying it this way. It was found on the river bank near the Church years ago. I had a visitor who thought it may be medieval as he seemed to have knowledge of ancient swords and daggers. I could easily send pictures as I would like to be able to label this artefact as accurately as I can. I am wondering if you could help or put me in touch with someone who may help us. Thank you.

Would be interested in finding out about any archery related finds and how I might view them.
