Clevedon & District Archaeological Society

Programme of monthly lecture meetings from September to March. Monthly visits from April to September. Annual long weekend study tour. Publish an annual newsletter. Undertake excavations and fieldwork, whenever possible. We usually arrange some activity for the general public on national Archaeology Day.

Cirencester Archaeological and Historical Society

Monthly lectures and visits to sites of historic interest. Occasional papers and research projects published in Cirencester Miscellany. Correspondent on planning applications. No excavation programme but supports local work by other bodies.
