This amazing cake was made by my daughter Katie for my 60th birthday, after I had spent a fortnight digging at Syon House in West London  (CA 260). How she knew about road irons, I will never know, but MOLA’s Mick Miles would be very unimpressed to learn that my toecaps were made of marzipan!
