This group exists to promote research on the archaeology of early medieval Wales c AD 400-1100. It meets annually for a day school either on recent research or on a particular theme concerning the archaeology of early medieval Wales.

Record and study the traditional buildings of Somerset. Stage 1, 2 & 3 of the Somerset Dendrochronology project – dating the medieval houses in the county has now been completed.
