Devon County Council, Historic Environment Service
Curator for Devon. Maintains computerised Historic Environment Record. Provides planning, agri-environment, conservation and management advice. Undertakes aerial reconnaissance. The Historic Landscape Characterisation exercise has been completed for the county. DCC works closely with Devon Archaeological Society and provides regular input to the Society’s training programme.
South Gloucestershire Council
Curator for South Gloucestershire. Maintains Historic Environment Record. Provides an integrated archaeological service.
Winchester Museums Service, Archaeology Section
Maintains Sites and Monuments Record for Winchester District, including the Urban Archaeology Database for Winchester. Responsible for post-excavation research and publication of archaeological investigations in the area, and for interacting with local communities in community heritage projects. Volunteers welcome. The Hampshire Finds Liaison Officer is also based at the Historic Resources Centre.
Bath & North East Somerset Council
Curator covering Bath and North East Somerset. Services include provision of planning advice and SMR information, along with some educational/public outreach.
Bristol City Council Archaeologist
Curator for City of Bristol. Maintains computerised Sites and Monuments Record. Provides development control advice.

Curator for the City of Lincoln District area. Maintains Lincoln Urban Archaeological Database. Heritage Team provides advice as part of the planning process, contributes to community projects and produces publications.
