The society is very active. It runs an annual training excavation at Upper Row. We have our own geophysical survey equipment to use on local sites. Winter lectures & Summer walks & excursions.

Kentish Archaeology, Council for

Co-ordinates 20 local groups in Kent. Holds two annual conferences, two open days and publishes The Kent Archaeological Review – a quarterly journal. Some affiliated groups welcome volunteers in local excavations.
