Earthwatch Institute is an international science and education charity which supports scientific field research through individual membership subscriptions, the participation of paying volunteers, and donations and grants from companies, government bodies, trusts and foundations. The volunteer programme offers members of the public opportunities to work as volunteers alongside leading field scientists and researchers. No special skills are required. Membership is ?25 per year.
