Programme of monthly talks. Currently excavating a late Romano-British farmstead site in Crowmarsh. The site has an associated cemetery with 25 burials and an adjacent early Iron Age pit assemblage. There is limited opportunity for excavation (week-ends only) and current attention is focussed on the likely settlement area. The society also carries out field walking and local history/archaeology surveys.
