The Trust for Thanet Archaeology offers professional archaeological services in Thanet and east Kent with capability in all archaeological work required by local authority planning conditions. They are able to offer friendly and informal advice on how to satisfy the archaeological requirements of planning conditions on development projects.
Their area of operation currently includes Kent and East Sussex.
The Trust has a full time Director and Deputy Director and employs additional field archaeologists for project work. They also work with volunteers from the local archaeological society and undergraduate archaeology students providing opportunities to take part in excavations.
