Now more than ten years old the Morecambe Bay Archaeological Society combines a mix of lectures, social evenings, summer trips and the occasional fieldwork to make a vibrant and (relatively) youthful society, with a relaxed and friendly approach to all things archaeological. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month between September and May, with trips organised over the summer. An occasional newsletter is published, very occasionally, with contributions from the members. Subscriptions are still comparatively cheap at five pounds although there is an entry fee to lectures.
