Lancashire Archaeological Society

Lancashire Archaeological Society provides an annual programme of regular lecture meetings and talks through the winter months and three or four guided walks, outings or visits during summer. Members’ interests are diverse and range from professional and academic to dilettante and recreational.

Once a year the AGM and Members’ Meeting provides an opportunity for any member to present a short talk on their own area of interest or research.

Winter meetings are generally held on the third Friday of the month at St Margaret’s Church Hall, St Margaret’s Close, Ingol, Preston PR2 3ZU and they start at 7.30 pm (unless otherwise stated). Visitors and new members are most welcome.
