Community group undertaking local research based fieldwork on Gloucestershire-Wiltshire border. Its aim is to involve members of the public along with Cirencester College students in archaeology either in partnership with other organisations or by organising our own research projects. These will include surveying, fieldwalking and excavation as appropriate. There are also monthly lectures on historical and archaeological topics with an emphasis on contributions by members of the group. Field visits are likely to start in summer 2006.
