The East Riding Archaeological Society is an active society of about 250 members. It aims to promote interest in archaeology, both in the local area and further a field, through a programme of lectures, excursions, publications and fieldwork.
The East Riding Archaeological Society holds monthly lectures from September to April in the Wilberforce Building at Hull University on Cottingham Road. Topics vary from items of local interest to those of national importance.
Day trips and walks to places of archaeological interest and social events are also organised.
