ACE is a small club devoted to practical archaeology in all its variations in the Mid Devon Area. We have run fieldwalks, field surveys, training digs and are currently co-ordinating a landscape archaeology project on Winkleigh Parish. Our finished work covers the Mesolithic right through to a second world war airfield. We also hold field trips and walks, and social events. Everyone is welcome, whatever age and experience (we can train members in new techniques).
