British Association for Near Eastern Archaeology (BANEA)

BANEA was founded to promote the study of the archaeology, history and languages of the ancient Near East at all levels; provide a forum for discussion; and enhance opportunities to study these subjects. The conference for the academic year 2004-2005 will be in Oxford, 6-8th January 2005. Within the association there are regionally-based groups, which also organise their own programmes of lectures and events.
