A Life In Archaeology

A celebration lecture to mark the 70th anniversary of the discoveries at Sutton Hoo.

Saturday 31st October, 11 am at the Riverside Theatre, Woodbridge will see a celebration lecture to mark the 70th anniversary of the discoveries at Sutton Hoo entitled; A LIFE IN ARCHAEOLOGY by DR STANLEY WEST Dr West was the founder and first Director of the Suffolk Archaeological Unit, the excavator of West Stow and discoverer of the Iken Cross. There will be a Celebration Luncheon after the lecture at 12.30pm at the Riverside Restaurant. Tickets for the lecture are priced at £7.50 for Society members and £8.50 for non-members. The Luncheon is priced at an additional £25 per person. Deadline for bookings is 14th October 2009. Please indicate how many tickets you would like and how many for the luncheon (if applicable). Also please say if you would like a vegetarian lunch.
